“Forevergreen Canada’s Paris, Here I Come” Contest
Rules of Participation
- The “Forevergreen Canada’s Paris, Here I Come” contest is held by Forevergreen Canada. It takes place on the internet, starting on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 5:30 A.M. EST and ends on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:59 P.M. EST (hereafter under "contest duration").
ELIGIBILITY
- This contest is open to all people living in Québec and Ontario who are over 18 years of age. The following are not eligible for this contest: the employees of Forevergreen Canada, Voyage Vasco Québec inc., their advertising and promotion agencies, partners, participating dealers, providers of any prizes, materials, or services that pertain to this contest, and any other stakeholders that may be directly linked to this contest as well as their immediate families (brothers, sisters, children, mother, father), their spouses or common-law spouses, and any people that these employees, representatives, and agents live with.
HOW TO ENTER
REGISTRATION
- Any person who has an appointment with Forevergreen Canada between Monday, May 3, 2010 at 5:30 A.M. EST and Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:59 P.M. EST via internet or telephone will automatically be eligible for the contest.
- Once you have accessed the online entry form, fill it out by entering the following information: Last name, first name, complete address with postal code, home and work phone number with regional code, age. Click on the “Submit your information” icon in order to send your online entry form by June 30, 2010 at midnight EST at the latest.
- The participants must comply with the following limits, otherwise the contest organizers reserve the right to cancel one or more of their entries:
- There is a limit of one entry per person.
- Each person can only use one e-mail address in the event where that person would have more than one.
PRIZE
- The following prize is offered:
One (1) one-week trip to Paris, Romance and Discovery, for two (2) people, worth approximately $2,500 CAN, including:
- Round-trip transportation, including layovers
- Accommodations at the 4-star Montmartre hotel for two people, including breakfast (In the event that the Mercure Montmartre hotel is not vacant during the dates chosen by the winners, it will be replaced by another hotel in the same category)
- A three-day “Paris à la Carte” pass for two (2) people
- A supper cruise on the Seine for two (2) people
- A half-day visit to Versailles for two (2) people
- The trip has to be made, under penalty of being annulled, before December 31, 2010, and the dates cannot be modified under any condition.
- The trip is subject to availabilities and includes all taxes.
The following conditions for travel apply and are the grand prize winner’s responsibility:
- All reservations are subject to availability for a departure from Montreal or Québec City.
- Please submit the beneficiaries’ trip request at least three weeks prior to the desired departure date.
- Once the trip has been confirmed, no changes can be made either to the departure date or the passengers' names.
- The trips are non-refundable, not convertible into cash, and non-transferable. Any accommodations or transportation between the beneficiaries’ home and the airport are not included in these prices. The documents necessary for the trip as well as all forms of travel insurance are the beneficiaries' responsibility. Any modifications made to the contract may result in fees that will have to be paid for by the beneficiaries. Any additional fees at the destination will be the beneficiaries' responsibility.
- Voyage Vasco Québec Inc. reserves the right to change the destination and the departure city.
- Portions of the prize that are not used cannot be transferred for another trip.
- We will send the trip documents approximately 7 business days before the departure date.
- Once the reservation has been made, it will be subject to 100% fees if there is a cancellation.
- Please make sure that the winners consult the terms and conditions at the back of the brochure in effect. All the passengers will be subject to them.
- Any requests to modify the destination or the hotel shall not be considered. These prizes must be accepted as they are and are non-refundable, non-transferable and do not have any cash value.

DRAWING
7. Monday, July 5, 2010, at approximately 10 o’clock EST, in Québec City at Forevergreen Canada’s head office,
5445, 1e Avenue, Charlesbourg Québec, Qc, G1H 2V6, an entry form will be randomly selected from all of the entry forms that have been filled out in compliance with paragraph 4, in order to award the prize. The first form to be randomly selected will be awarded the grand prize.
In the event where the person is declared ineligible before the prize is awarded to him/her, he/she will be disqualified and another entry form will be picked, according to the process mentioned above, until another participant is selected and declared to be the winner.
8. The odds that a particular participant's entry form will be the one randomly selected for the grand prize depends on the number of entry forms submitted in compliance with paragraph 4.
CLAIMING OF PRIZES
- In order to be declared to be the winner, any selected person must:
- Be contacted by the contest organizers within 7 days after the random selection
- Sign the declaration and responsibility waiver form (hereafter referred to as the "Declaration Form") that will be sent in the mail and return it to the contest organizer 10 days after it has been received, at the latest.
- If there is a failure to comply with one of the conditions mentioned in the paragraph above or any other conditions mentioned in these participation regulations, the selected person's participation will be cancelled and another drawing for this prize will take place in compliance with these regulations until a participant has been selected and declared to be the winner.
- The prize will be awarded within four (4) to six (6) weeks following the reception of the duly completed Declaration Form.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Verification. The registrations will be verified by the contest organizers. Any registration that is deemed incomplete, inaudible, or fraudulent will automatically be rejected and will not be eligible to win a prize.
- Non-compliant Participation. The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify any person or to cancel one or more registrations of any person who enters this contest or tries to enter it by means that are contrary to these regulations. Any such person could be turned over to competent judicial authorities.
- Prize Acceptance. All prizes shall be accepted under the terms that are described in this document and shall not be transferred to another person, substituted for another prize or exchanged in part or in full for money, except under the conditions that are described in the paragraph below.
- Prize Substitution. In the event where, for reasons that are beyond the winners’ control, the contest organizers cannot award a prize (or part of a prize) as it is described in these regulations, the organizers are committed to awarding a prize (or part of a prize) of the same nature and value or, to their discretion, the value of the prize (or part of the prize) in cash.
- Refusal to Accept a Prize. Any randomly selected person's refusal to accept a prize, according to the procedures of this document, liberates the contest organizers of any obligations pertaining to this prize for this person.
- Limits of Responsibility - Use of the Prize. Any person who wins the contest, Forevergreen Canada, Voyage Vasco Québec Inc., their affiliates, their advertising and promotion agencies, employees, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any damages that he/she may incur while accepting or using his/her prize. In order to be declared to be the winner and prior to receiving the prize, any person selected must sign a declaration form to this effect if needed.
- Limits of Responsibility - Contest Operation. Forevergreen Canada, Voyage Vasco Québec Inc., their affiliates, their advertising and promotion agencies, employees, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any malfunction of any IT component, software, or any line of communication that would cause a defective, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased transmission of information that may limit or prevent a person from participating in this contest. Forevergreen Canada, Voyage Vasco Québec Inc., their affiliates, their advertising and promotion agencies, employees, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any damage or loss that may be directly or indirectly, totally or partly, caused by the downloading of any software or form or by the transmission of information pertaining to the participation in this contest.
- Modification. The contest organizers reserve the right, at their discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this contest completely or partly in the event that there would be an event, error, or any kind of human intervention that could corrupt or affect the administration, safety, impartiality, or the contest’s flow as it has been defined in this document. This is subject to approval by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if needed. In all cases, the contest organizers, their affiliates, their advertising and promotion agencies, providers of any products or services that are linked to this contest, their employees, agents, and representatives shall not be held responsible for giving away more prizes than those that have been indicated in this document or to award different prizes than those that have been indicated in this document.
- Impossibility of Taking Action - Work Conflict. Forevergreen Canada, Voyage Vasco Québec Inc., their affiliates, their advertising and promotion agencies, employees, agents, and representatives shall not assume responsibility in any way in any case where their incapacity to take action would result from a situation that is out of their control, a strike, a lock-out, or any other kind of work conflict in their establishment or in the establishments of organisations or companies whose services are used for this contest.
- Limits of Responsibility - Participation. Any person participating or attempting to participate in this contest liberates the contest organizers, their affiliates, their advertising and promotion agencies, employees, agents, and representatives from responsibility for any damages that he/she may incur while participating or attempting to participate in this contest.
- Authorization. By participating in this contest, any person who wins authorizes the contest organizers, their partners, representatives, and prize providers to use their names, photographs, images, declaration pertaining to the prize, place of residence and/or voice without any form of remuneration. They may do this at their own discretion and without any limits pertaining to the period in which they may do this, in any media and worldwide, for advertising purposes or any other purpose that is deemed to be important.
- Communication with the Participants. No form of communication (other than the registration) or correspondence shall take place with the participants in the context of this contest, except for those who have been selected to win a prize.
- Decisions by the Contest Organizers. Any decision made by the contest organizers or their representatives that pertains to this contest is final and cannot be appealed, notwithstanding any decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec that has to do with any matter that pertains to its competence.
- Dispute. Any dispute that would pertain to the organization or handling of a promotional contest could be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux in order to receive a decision. Any dispute pertaining to the awarding of a prize can be submitted to the Régie’s attention only for intervention in order to attempt to solve the dispute.
- Participant Identification. For this document’s purposes, the participant is the person whose contact information is given during the phone call. This person is the one who will be asked the mathematical skill question and who will receive the prize if he/she is selected and declared to be the winner.
